Ironic...I just got in from galavanting around the strip at oceanfront Virgina Beach, and in my friend's car we had the Jazmine Sullivan underground/unreleased/demos and mixtape playing all night. Sullivan has been lighting up the ears of gospel music lovers for a few years now, her sound is reminiscent of breakthrough technique/jazzy vocal gospel artist Kim Burrell (listen to ANY Kim Burrell song and then listen to Jazmine Sullivan's 'Round Midnight you'll understand the attraction)
