I will make this next statement aware of all the arrows that will be slung my way:
I am not a fan. I can see how people love her, but she has musically penetrated my heart once (You dont know my name).
And was it me, or did she sound real phlegm-ish or grainy?
I know this will be the inspirational joint that will get many couples through the long winter, only to succumb to the syptoms of spring fever. But this is one bandwagon that will be leaving with out me...and I wont be doing the Rerun.
i'm not a huge fan of this song either. it ain't bad, it just ain't great. i'm congratulating her for bringin some bonafide sex appeal to this video tho. i've never thought alicia keys was sexy. always thought she was an average looking chick. i still think she kinda is, but cot durn if she don't make average look sexy in this vidjo.
yo , i concur with all of these sentiments. always respected her as an artist for bringing a bit of integrity to the music, but always felt about her the way i feel about chamillionaire... i can never shake that feeling of corniness [playing the baby casio in the subway with break dancers and violinists, wearing stevie braids :( ] as far as looks go, she's always been fine but not sexy or "BAD!"... in this joint she's killing it tho.
