Wu-Tang Killer Beatles?

RZA discusses "The Heart Gently Weeps." This interview makes me love the song even more. He describes the process of getting to redo a Beatles song (which if you don't know, is near impossible) and explains the premise of the song.

Watch and enjoy.

This song is really BIG news...the firsti heard of it was on ESPN2's morning show "1st and 10 (basically the Today Show with sports). It was in one of the sectoins where they face off about sports topics and at the end, Skip Bayliss (sports version of Bill O'Reilly) basically went off about how "there are some songs you just dont redo and this is one of them!" He went on to profess his street cred by stating his love of the Black Eyed Peas (the equivilant onf Bill O'reilly saying "I have black friends").

I knew that, if anything, the track would be well produced seeing as to how the Rza is prolly #2 when it comes to remakes/samples (gotta give props to Premier at the #1 spot), ESPECIALLY going to noconventional topics and inspirations to create hip hop titanium. With all of this said, this song is amazing. And i'd love to see Skip Bayless's face after hearing the justive done to one of the classics. This is what hiphop needs. This is grassroots.

I watched an old concert/ benefit that George Harrison put on from like the 60's (stop sleeping on PBS) and I can honestly say this joint has his spirit.

This is anonymous...but you know who it is...
