Nah son, this ain't a Dilla tribute. If you didn't know, the first Friday of June is National Donut Day and today, June 5, 2009, is the first Friday of June. You know what sucks though? I live in Philly, which has ZERO Krispy Kreme shops. ZERO! The nearest Krispy Kreme is in Manhattan. Man-friggin-hattan. I'm kinda pissed, but not really (it is just donuts). Still, I feel some typa way about not being able to celebrate National Donut Day with a freshly baked Krispy Kreme donut. So much so, I might hop that Chinatown bus just to get a dozen...
